Descriptive Review
I Am Loved is a touching story that shares with its readers that one does not have to live with family members to be loved by them. This loving story shares the feelings and emotions of a child in foster care and how he knows he is still loved by his family even if he is unable to live with them. This is a great book to share with children who may be feeling lonely as a result of living away from their families. Authors Kevin and Mary Qamaniq-Mason are foster parents and tell this story with compassion for children. The glossary in the back notes pronunciation and meaning for Inuktitut words used throughout the story. A great addition to any library.
