Descriptive Review

This fast-paced read highlights different perspectives relating to gender and friendship, as Bass and Rosie are tested on not only their survival skills, but also their identities, strengths, and weaknesses. The book provides great suspense, but uses coarse language to exemplify the emotions and undertakings Rosie and Bass face as they fight for survival. Sink or Swim offers insights into the life of a trans teen as they navigate their relationship and the elements. | Author Tash McAdam identifies as trans and queer and lives in Vancouver, BC. They have also written well-known books such as Blood Sport and the Psionics series.
