Descriptive Review

This fast-paced graphic novel is the sequel to The Monster Sisters and the Mystery of the Unlocked Cave. Set in Victoria, BC, readers will recognize many well-known landmarks as the sisters Enid and Lyra swing through the city chasing imaginary monsters, following a set of clues, and trying to solve the mystery of why monsters seem intent on destroying the town. The frenetic adventures of the sisters demand the reader continue the story to see what happens next. The smart wit, clever responses, and appearances by a supporting host of creative monsters make for an enjoyable romp in true comic book style. The closing pages feature dialogue by sister Enid about the importance of sharing our space with others, which is supported by the Stone Octopus, wrapping up the two-book storyline. Author Gareth Gaudin is the co-owner of Legends Comics and Books and creator of the comic strip Magic Teeth Dailies.
