The characters in this young adult illustrated fantasy story are edgy with eclectic personalities. The flying girl is called Eggs, as she only wears a graphic t-shirt with the word “EGGS” on it. We never know for sure if she can actually fly or if her urban acrobatic skills give the illusion of gliding from balconies to rooftops. Eggs has one “kryptonite”: she is unable to physically touch the ground and climbs onto anything to avoid it. Eggs befriends Grackle McCart, owner of the 100 Dogs Hot Dog Bicycle Cart. Customers always look up for Eggs moving amongst the rooftops. Eggs steals things she needs, but when she steals a jacket belonging to Robin, a rooftop fight erupts. Eggs falls and is carried by an air current to an unknown location – never seen again.
